La Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos de Linares de la Sierra. Una cabalgata diferente.
Iniciamos el recorrido de día desde la fuente y los lavaderos públicos y poco a poco entre antorchas, velas y luces se fue haciendo de noche. Las escenas estaban listas desde las 17:30 h hasta las 19:30 h.
Todo el pueblo convertido en un precioso portal de belén viviente que nos iba sorprendiendo a cada paso, notando el cariño con el que se han engalanado los balcones, rejas y portales.
Ya en la plaza se ofrecían infusiones naturales y deliciosas rosquillas artesanas por la voluntad.
El broche final, como es tradicional en un 5 de enero, lo pusieron los tres reyes magos, que aparecieron ya de noche sobre las 20:00 h a lomos de tres burros. Desde la Plaza de la Fuente se dirigieron a la Iglesia Parroquial de San Juan Bautista y allí entregaron los regalos que traían. Sus Majestades además visitaron a lo niños enfermos.
Cada año hay diferencias, mejoras y más detalles. Hay que volver sin dudar…
Enhorabuena al ayuntamiento, a su alcalde Juan Miguel Ramos Martín, a los organizadores, la Asociación Cultural Sierra de Picachanes y a todo el pueblo por colaborar con tanto esfuerzo y dedicación año tras año. Una gran apuesta turística en una zona rural con encanto. Un auténtico «Valle Encantado» recuperado con sus casas encaladas, sus cuidadas calles empedradas y ahora aún más mágico, como si contuviese numerosos cuadro estáticos de otra época y estos nos rememorasen una Navidad muy especial…de cuento.
Christmas at Linares de la Sierra. A different Christmas…with their special living nativity!
This very special Nativity takes place at a Village from Huelva. Linares de la Sierra. A beautifully preserved village in a beautiful countryside. Once in the Village centre, evey year, the route starts at day time, starting the stroll from the public laundries square and from there marching slowly and happily though beautiful picturesque streets as it gradually gets dark; then torches, candles and some lamps light the scenes. The scenes were ready from 17:30 h to 19:30 h .
The whole town converted itself into a beautiful living Nativity that would surprise us at every step , every corner. We could feel all the love and effort with which everybody had put into it: designing the scenes, the different customes design, the decoration, adorning balconies , streets, squares and gates.
Back in the main square, natural fennel and other herbs infusions and delicious home made donuts were offered by village voluntiers. .
As it was January 5th , the cherry on the cake was the view of the three wise men.. It was getting dark already (arround 20:00) when they appeared ridding three donkeys . They took off from the Plaza de la Fuente and then headed towards the Church of San Juan Bautista and there delivered all the gifts they brought to the children. Their Majesties also visited the sick children.
Every year we can notice differences , improvements and details. We must return without hesitation next christmas …
Congratulations to the city council , to mayor Juan Miguel Ramos Martin, the organizers , the Sierra de Picachanes Cultural Association and all tLinares de la Sierra people for working so hard and for their dedication year after year . A great tourist proyect in a rural charm. An authentic » Valle Encantado» (Enchanted Valley) which has been recovered with its whitewashed houses, cobbled streets. Now is is an even more magical site , as it contains numerous static biblical pictures of another era and these bring us back … to a very special Christmas tale world.
