Os muestro una de las cerámicas que estoy pintando. Algunos de los detalles del diseño. Es una obra en proceso.
Sobre un fondo verde musgo en varios tonos, he realizado varias plumas en negro cayendo hacia abajo en la parte superior y otras en rojo tierra siena tostada en la inferior. La voy a tratar a la encáustica.
En la otra pieza he realizado también un diseño a base de plumas y letras. Las plumas las dibujé con grafito, siguiendo un patrón repetitivo. El fondo lo traté con varias capas de color frotadas y por transparencias, lijándolas y tratandolas con brocha plana y lija. Para los acabados, se pulveriza con agua-cola primero y se aplica soplete. Ahora están secando. Aquí veis como van. Para el acabado se aplicará cuando se vea que la capa de agua-cola esté uniforme, otra capa con cera virgen. Os lo iré mostrando paso a paso.

This first one, is one of the pots I am painting now.
Work in process. Here you can see some design details. I applied a green paint coat first of all, and then added some black feathers falling from the top and some red ones (in Brunt Siena) at the bottom.
The other has a feather pattern design as well, tough it is repetitive. I also added some letters at the base of the pot.I used several layers of paint using a wide brush for the background and graphite for the feathers. A solution made out of diluted white glue will protect and fix the paint together with heat. Tomorrow I will carry on checking the process, and the final coat will be done using wax. I will show it as I do it.
